Greenville chase ends with driver found under house

Two people face charges after a chase that led to a manhunt Tuesday morning. Greenville County Sheriff’s Deputies say it started when they stopped at the ‘Hot Spot’ on Augusta Road, because of a recent increase in armed robberies in the county.
A vehicle left the store quickly. Deputies chased the car at high speeds on White Horse Road until the driver stopped on Uneeda Drive.
Our sister station, WSPA was there when deputies say two passengers stayed in the car, but the driver ran off just before 1:00am Tuesday morning.

og teams were brought in, and they tell us they found the driver hiding under a house nearby. The name of the man hasn’t been released, but officers say he’ll be charged with failure to stop for a blue light.
Deputies also say he had a stolen tag and a suspended license. One passenger was cited for having an open container.
