2 Cents - Vote

People have a lot of reasons why they don’t vote. It seems to me that every election year I hear someone say “well I don’t know enough about the issues or the candidates to vote”

And… I’ve got to tell you, that excuse just doesn’t hold up very well

Between the debates, 24 hour news networks and the internet, you can be as informed or as uninformed as you would like to be.

But make no mistake; the issues that are facing our nation are real. The economy, the war in Iraq, healthcare and homeland security

All of these things will help determine the strength of our nation.

Don’t you want your voice to be heard?

November’s Presidential election will prove to be a historic event. When the votes have been cast. And the ballots counted, we will have either the first African American President or the first Female vice President.

The last day to register to vote is this Saturday.

So get registered. Get to the polls this November and exercise your right to be a part of history.
