2 Cents - Andre Bauer

Last year, I got the chance to sit and talk for about an hour with Lieutenant Governor Andre Bauer when he was here at channel 2. He came across to me as a good person who sincerely wants the best for South Carolina. Unfortunately, the Andre Bauer I saw on News 2 Wednesday was all politician. He called on Governor Mark Sanford to resign so that he can take over the job… and he promised not to run for Governor in 2010 if Sanford did quit. But he knew before he stood up in front of the TV cameras what the answer was going to be. And it only took a couple of hours for the Governor to politely tell Bauer to get lost.

A lot of people believe Governor Sanford should resign, and I do respect that opinion, but I am not one of them… trading one lame-duck Governor for another is not going to do us any good. There’s urgent business that needs done in Columbia. Politicians are too busy worrying about what’s best for them… instead of what’s best for us.

Lets all quit worrying about the Governor’s job… and start doing something about the thousands of jobs we need created in our state. Shame on you Andre Bauer; get your priorities right and show us why we should consider voting for you next year.

I’m Rick Lipps and that’s my two cents.

Rick, I totally disagree with you i think governor sanford should resign or put this state more in debt with an impeachment trial didn't he see what took place in Illionis or not and now i'm sure after all that took place the state of Illonis is still in debt from it.if i were him i would resign instead of putting my state more in debt.
