We heard from a lot of you on election day about how long you waited in line to vote … 2 hours … 3 hours … 4 hours. Did you expect anything less? We’re talking about a nationally historic election. More people were engaged in this uniquely American process than at anytime in our history.
There are still a lot of issues facing this great nation and now more than ever , we need to be engaged and continue to participate in the future of our country.
For many this has been a very momentous week, the scene in Chicago Tuesday night was unbelievable and regardless of your politics, you should be proud of the way this nation came out to have their voices heard.
we have a very difficult struggle ahead of us. Barack Obama is the 44th president of the United States of America and any failure on our part to give him the respect and honor this office demands is a failure of our system.
Lets continue to prove to the world that anything is possible in the United States and start solving the messes we are in and celebrating the greatness we are.
This is democracy and The United States at its best!
I’m Rick Lipps, and that’s my 2 cents worth.
