This Keller stay-at-home mom has been selling baby products on eBay for years but now she’s resorted to selling her husband on the online auction site.
Valerie King says “there have been people who have sold toast that looks like Jesus why not list my husband and try and find him a job.“
Darren was laid off from his IT job four months ago.
He’s applied for more than 300 jobs since.
Darren says “I’ve been to career fairs with over 1,300 people and only 6 employers.“
The King’s eBay ad has only been up for a few hours now.
It’s 99-cents to see Darren’s resume only because ebay won’t allow you to sell anything for free.
Darren says “really we are not trying to get people to buy anything we are just trying to get exposure get my skills out there resume out there and see what I can do.“
As of right now the only ones seeing his skills are his wife and three kids.
Valerie says “hopefully it will lead my husband to a job opportunity.“
