Texas mom arrested after leaving kids in hot car while she went drinking

A woman in Lakewood, Texas is accused of leaving her three young children in a hot car while she drank at a bar.
Police arrested 23-year-old Asia Thomas for suspicion of child endangerment.

Investigators said the bar owner and a customer noticed the children and called police.

The children are all under the age of four.

They said the car’s windows were rolled down but the car’s interior was still hot.

This all apparently happened on the birthday of one of the children.

They are now in the care of child protective services.
