Several tornados ripped through central Nebraska Wednesday night.

A group of storm chasers caught one large tornado on tape as it touched down near the town of Aurora, where it damaged a dog food plant and several homes before lifting back up.

Thankfully no injuries have been reported, but many people in the area remain without power as crews work to clean up the damage.

Several other twisters were spotted in the area and officials say some damage has also been reported from those storms.

IT ALWAYS BOTHERS ME WHEN THE MEDIA MAKE SUCH A BIG DEAL OUT OF PEOPLE WHO DO STUPID THINGS LIKE THIS... WHEN SOMEONE GETS KILLED BECAUSE THEY WANT THEIR 15 MINUTES OF FAME FOR SCREAMING ABOUT HOW CLOSE THEY ARE TO A KILLER TORNADO, LET THE MEDIA COVER THAT AND SHOULDER A LITTLE OF THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROMOTING IDIOCY.
