Hurricane Gustav evacuee Laura Kozman gave birth Monday hundreds of miles from home, but it isn’t the first time it’s happened.
Kozman had her first child, Matthew, after evacuating to Dallas, Texas in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
Her new arrival, Evan Michael, arrived in Little Rock, Arkansas, after Kozman and her family fled their Slidell, Louisiana storm before Gustav arrived..
Kozman says she’s learned an important lesson.
“If I get pregnant again. I’ve moving before hurricane season,“ she joked.
