Elderly Florida man chokes girlfriend in argument over how to load dishwasher

An elderly Florida man is facing battery charges after allegedly strangling his live-in girlfriend during an argument over how to best load the dishwasher.

82-year-old Joseph Frank Strauch was arrested after the altercation with 74-year-old Lillian Keller.

Keller called Deltona police Wednesday night to report the assault.

She was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries after police arrived on the scene.
