2 soldiers die from injuries in Iraq, Afghanistan

The Department of Defense reports that two North Carolina-based soldiers have died in Iraq and Afghanistan.
   
The military said Tuesday that 22-year-old Spc. Justin A. Saint of Albertville, Ala., died Oct. 15 in Iraq. The incident is being investigated and the military didn’t release any details about it.
   
Saint was assigned to Special Troops Battalion, 18th Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg.
   
Also, military officials reported that 39-year-old Capt. Robert D. Lindenau of Camano Island, Wash., died Oct. 20 in Charbagh, Afghanistan.
   
Officials said he died of wounds he suffered when a rocket-propelled grenade struck his vehicle.
   
Lindenau was assigned to the 91st Civil Affairs Battalion, 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne) at Fort Bragg.
