It was a violent week in Walterboro. Monday, a drive-by shooter killed three people, including a toddler, and injured six others. Then on Wednesday, another drive-by shooter targeted a car. Two people were taken to the hospital.

American Red Cross volunteers provided assistance to a family of seven whose home was consumed in an evening fire Saturday.  Berkeley County emergency personnel responded to the Moncks Corner fire. Three adults and four children were displaced by the fire.
