One day after defiantly responding to calls for his resignation from Lt. Governor Andre Bauer, South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford will go on the offensive against another one of his critics Thursday.

According to a news release, Sanford will hold a “media availability” across the street from Senator David Thomas’s law office in Greenville at 11 a.m. Thomas accused the governor of breaking the law Monday, when he said the governor flew business class to Japan, China, Germany, Poland, and Austria. He said those flights cost taxpayers an extra $14,000 more than if he flew coach.
