Thursday night, Sen. Barack Obama gets his chance to address the Democratic National Convention in Denver, and the scene will move to an outdoor stadium.
On the heels of all that’s taken place this week, his wife, his chief primary opponent, his vice president, and a former president… They’ve all spoken this week.
Wednesday, News 2’s Warren Peper spoke to South Carolina Congressman, Jim Clyburn, who’s in Denver at the convention. He says all that’s happened to this point, is fine. Now it’s Barack Obama’s chance to bring it home. Listen to the video to see what he has to say.
Thursday is the final night for the Democratic National convention.. Next week, the Republican Convention takes center stage, but there is some talk that the potential for another hurricane to strike New Orleans could alter those plans.
Republican Party officials are concerned it would not be appropriate to be celebrating in Minneapolis if there are Americans in danger for their lives in Louisiana, Mississippi and texas.
