C-SPAN founder tells USC grads: Do what you want

The founder of C-SPAN has told University of South Carolina graduates not to worry about others and do what they want to do with their lives.
Brian Lamb spoke at Friday’s commencement for the Moore School of Business, the College of Mass Communication and Information Studies, and the Colleges of Nursing and Pharmacy
“Don’t worry about what anyone else thinks. If you don’t want to do it, it will show,“ Lamb said.
Smithsonian Institution Secretary Gerald Clough speaks Saturday for the Honors College and the College of Arts and Sciences. Former DNC chair Don Fowler will speak Saturday afternoon for the Colleges of Education, Engineering, and Social Work.
The university awards 4,336 degrees Friday and Saturday in Columbia.
