Whale Washes Up on IOP
Another whale has washed up on a Lowcountry beach. It’s the second time in just over a week. Police say this pygmy sperm whale washed up on the Isle of Palms today. Sanitation workers found the whale around six a.m. They say the whale was already dead at that time. Police notified the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration who took the whale for an autopsy. A whale washed up on Folly Beach August 22nd.
