Two time Dorchester County escapee caught

Dorchester County Deputies said today, Georgia authorites arrested Adam Lee Longa.

According to Sgt. Michael Miller, deputies in Butts County found Longa in the passenger seat of a stolen car, but he took took off running.  Longa evaded police until they caught up with him in a wooded area Wednesday night.

Longa escaped from a moving patrol on September 1st while a deputy drove him back to jail after a trip to the hospital.

In November, Longa escaped from the Dorchester County Jail through an air duct.

Longa is in Georgia awaiting extradition.
