A bond court judge denied bond for armed robbery charges against the two men accused of carrying a gun on the campus of Charleston Southern University.

North Charleston Police arrested 20-year-old Justin Moore of Greenville, and 23-year-old Tangie White from North Charleston.  They are both facing robbery and armed robbery charges.  The judge denied bond for the armed robbery charges, meaning they will stay in jail for the time being.

Officers searched the CSU campus late Sunday night after students reported a gunman in the shool grounds.

CSU officials say they used their campus-wide alert system to let students know that the school was locked down.  However, many parents and students called, and emailed News 2 saying they never recieved an alert.

A school spokesman says there was a glitch in the system, and it’s being investigated.
