TRAFFIC ALERT: Water main break closes Rifle Range in Mt. Pleasant
The Mt. Pleasant Police Department is urging drivers to avoid Rifle Range Road this morning.
Officers closed the road around 3:00 a.m. Wednesday because of a water main break near Sloan Park.
Rifle Range is closed from the Bowman Road traffic circle to the Venning Road traffic circle.
Police tell News 2, crews are working to repair the break. However, the water damaged a portion of the roadway.
It is unclear how long it will take to get the road reopened.
