The Colleton County coroner confirmed to News 2, that three people, including a 20-month-old, died in a drive-by shooting late Monday night.

The coroner identified the victims, as 45-year-old Charles Kittrell, 20-month-old Shaniyah Burden, and 21-year-old Chrsitopher Powell.
There are very few details being given by police, except that someone opened fire at the corner of Gerideau and McDaniels Streets in Walterboro.

All dispatchers would tell us is that the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is part of the investigation.

We are waiting for information from SLED’s spokesperson.

Authorities say three people have been killed and five injured in a shooting in a small town west of Charleston.
   
Barry McRoy, director of Colleton County Fire and EMS, confirmed to The Post and Courier of Charleston that eight people were treated and three of them died in the shooting late Monday. The newspaper reported it happened at a house in Walterboro, about 40 miles west of Charleston.
   
A call to the McRoy by The Associated Press was not immediately returned early Tuesday.
   
The Walterboro Police Department is investigating. A dispatcher told AP that investigators are at the scene and not available to comment. Colleton County police referred all calls to Walterboro officials.
