Small business in Summerville seeing increase during hard times

Small business in Summerville seeing increase in business. A long-time travel agency in the downtown Summerville area sees more people buying travel services.

Karen Copeland has been a travel consultant for almost 20 years.  She works for Adventure Travel Agency in Summerville.

She says that while business is down slightly over this same time last year, they have seen a definately increase in business after a slow spring. 

Some travelers are opting to stay closer to home, or spend fewer nights out of town. 

She says the best deals right now are cruises. If you are interested in cruising Alaska or Europe, there are some really deep discounts.
