We still do not the exact cause, but a preliminary report has been released by the FAA on the plane crash which killed four people last month at Summerville airport.
The plane crashed into the woods shortly after takeoff on October 21st. The report says the pilot, Peter Radding, did fly that plane a few days prior, at night, to make sure he was current for night operations..
Radding was a very experienced pilot, with over 4,000 hours of flight experience.. Emails were also found between the four victims, about the weight and balance of the airplane, for their upcoming trip to the Bahamas..
Witness stated the engines seemed “loud” and heard three or four post-accident explosions..
