Meth Lab found in West Ashley hotel room

Early Friday morning, detectives with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office Metro Narcotics Unit, found a Methamphetamine Laboratory in a rented room of the Econo Lodge, at 2237 Savannah Hwy.

Four people were arrested:
Adam Hazel- Manufacture of Methamphetamine and Distribution of Methamphetamine
Maria Hazel- Manufacture of Methamphetamine
Jarold Cumbee- Possession with intent to Distribute Methamphetamine and Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm
Rebecca Young- Possession with intent to Distribute Methamphetamine and Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm

A gun and a small amount of meth were confiscated. The lab was extensive and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) helped with the clean up.
