Man shot while sitting on the back porch this morning in downtown Charleston

According to the police report, Ahmanarasha Issac Coaxum told police he was sitting on the back porch at 240-B America street when he saw a dark colored Chrysler 300 stop in front of the building.  After the car stopped, he heard one shot fired. 

He was hit by the buller which traveled through the front of his jacket, struck his bicep and became lodged in his left tricep.  The vehicle reportedly sped off.  The victim says he did not see the shooter. 

EMS transported the victim to MUSC.
