Man arrested after shooting on Wadmalaw Island
A Wadmalaw Island man is behind bars, charged in connection to a shooting.
At around 8am Tuesday morning, the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at 2734 Rosville Road, Wadmalaw Island.
Deputies found a female victim with a single gunshot to her lower back. She was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect, Antonio Lamont Brown, fled the scene in a late model Buick, but was arrested on Wadmalaw Island around 10am without incident.
Police say Brown the victim know each other and this shooting appears to be domestic related.
