Henry Brown defeats Linda Ketner in U.S. House race

U.S. Representative Henry Brown won re-election Tuesday to his District 1 seat. 

He made big gains along the Grand Strand to have a solid margin of votes over his Democratic opponent Linda Ketner.

Supporters cheered as the results came in and Brown made his victory speech just before 11 p.m. 

Rep. Brown told News 2 he commended Ketner for her effort and thanked his supporters for re-electing him.

Ketner has not conceded defeat and will hold a press conference at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.
