Fire at Kiawah office park

A fire at a business office park on Monday at Kiawah remains under investigation.

The fire started in one mobile unit at the Kiawah Development Partners business offices off Beach Walker Drive. Fire crews were called to the scene at around noon.

The fire started in the roof of the unit, which received moderate damage. People were inside working, smelled smoke, and managed to get out safely.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but officials say no foul play is suspected.
