FEMA awards money to Goose Creek Fire Department

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) today awarded the Goose Creek Fire Department almost $98,000 on Friday, to be used for safety and operations.

“Proper staffing, equipment and preparedness are essential to the nation’s first responders,” said FEMA Regional Administrator Phil May.  “FEMA is supporting fire departments throughout the country to meet those needs so they can provide communities with safety and security during times of crisis.”
