Car overturns outside Cario Middle School in Mount Pleasant

A serious accident outside Cario Middle School in Mount Pleasant on Monday morning left one vehicle on its side.

Firefighters responded to the scene of an accident between a mini-van and a pickup truck.

Both vehicles were heavily damaged and the mini van ended up on its side.
There were reports from parents that there was a gas leak from the wreck.
There was no immediate word on injuries.

Cario Middle School in is the Park West subdivision.
