Berkeley County fire officials contacted us to let us know about a single mother with 3 kids who lost their home and belongings last night in a house fire. James Lewis is a firefighter in Berkeley County.  He’s personally trying to help this family. He tells me the family didn’t have insurance. There is a 2 year old daughter, a 10 year old daughter and a 14 year old son. Mr. Lewis is setting up an account at the Carolina First Bank.  The family is being assisted by the Red Cross, but they still need additional help.  If you would like to help, call Mr. Lewis at 843-729-0833 or 843-709-2837.
