Goose Creek police were on the lookout Monday for a robber who forced employees of a Dollar Store to the ground at gunpoint late Saturday night.
Police said two employees noticed the man lurking outside the Davenport Street store after hours.
He approached the employees as they sat in a car in the parking lot, forced them to the ground at gunpoint and then ordered them back into the store.
When he demanded money, the employees filled the robber’s bag with the store’s nightly deposit.
They say he ordered them back on the ground and tried to leave, only to find that the store’s front door was locked.
He then ordered one the employees to unlock the door and escaped.
A witness saw the robber head to a nearby Arby’s parking lot, where he left in a long, dark car with a gold stripe along the side.
