Ohio woman admits seducing 12-year-old boy to celebrate her 55th birthday

A Dayton, Ohio woman has admitted to a judge she had sex with a 12-year-old boy.

55-year-old Gloria Murphy pleaded guilty to one count of gross sexual imposition of a person under the age of 13.

The charge is a third degree felony and is punishable by up to five years in prison.

A very frail looking Murphy answered to the charges in Judge Mary Katherine Huffman’s courtroom on Friday, October 23.

Her other charge, rape of a child, was dropped under a plea agreement.

Dayton police arrested Murphy on January 30 after the boy told an adult he and Murphy had sex on her birthday, January 28.

Police said Murphy didn’t force the boy to have sex, but since the boy is under the age of 13, it’s considered rape.

Murphy goes back to court on December 2 for sentencing.
