Multiple confessions to killing TV anchor

The man police charged with killling a TV anchorwoman in Little Rock Arkansas confessed several times to the crime.

Curtis Vance is charged in the beating death last October of Anne Pressly, an anchorwoman for KATV in Little Rock originally from South Carolina.

Vance was in court Tuesday for a hearing scheduled after he refused to submit to a mental examination.

During the hearing, Deputy Prosecutor John Johnson said Vance confessed three times to killing Pressly.

The Greenville, South Carolina native survived five days after her mother found her badly beaten in her home. Vance claimed that the confession came because

a police officer threatened him with a gun.
