How to get the right costume for Halloween this year

Here comes Halloween.  As the leaves turn and fall and the chill comes into the air, it’s getting close to trick or treat time and our PC Mike Wendland has put together a guide to help kids and grownups get just the right look come October 31st.  Here’s PC Mike.

The key to Halloween happiness is a cool costume.  And there are lots of online sites that sell ready-to-wear costumes.  Just do a Google search.  But probably the most popular this year for women is the Sarah Palin costume.  It’s everywhere.  It comes with a wig, glasses, even buttons.  Costs $28.  There are also do-it-yourself instructions, or, from Amazon, a mask.

For the men, the top costume online appears to be one that makes you look like President Obama, including this one that makes him look like a zombie.

Halloween Express is one of the biggest online sites.  It has ready to wear getups for kids, pirates, superheroes, angels, animals, you name it.

Same thing here with adults, they even have plus size costumes.  Still stumped?  Try the Costume Idea Zone.  They have lots of pictures of homemade costumes you can browse through and duplicate.

One important tip for singles on Halloween, keep in mind that the uglier you make yourself, the less likely you are to attract a Halloween companion. If you want to look good on Halloween try to balance the scary factor with the attractive factor, for example it's better to play a sexy, suave vampire than a rotting zombie.
