Florida farm helps acquaint blind kids with horses

A Miami horse farmer is giving blind children the ride of a lifetime.

Jack Tierney has been hosting campers from Miami’s Lighthouse for the Blind for the past three summers.

“It’s very successful over the years for the kids,“ Tierney says, “and to see them get so excited with the horses, it’s really a blessing!“
The children have varying degrees of vision loss.

While the camp is funded by the Children’s Trust, the field trip is a donated gift with a priceless payoff.
