Anne Hathaway’s Oscar nominated performance in “Rachel Getting Married” gets a DVD showcase this week.

She plays a newly rehabbed woman not completely over her issues who returns home just as her older sister’s wedding approaches.

That makes an already pressurized situation even more so.

“Rachel Getting Married” is rated R.

Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd are buddies forced to mentor kids in order to stay out of jail in “Role Models”.

Of course, their behavior’s not the sort to be emulated, so someone’s bound to learn something.

Bloopers are among extras as well as a feature on Scott getting slapped around by his young co-star.

Leave it to Jason Statham in “Transporter 3”.

Once he again he’s taken on the courier job no one else can handle.

This time it’s transporting the kidnapped daughter of a Ukranian government official.

The writer of “Adaptation” and “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” blurs the lines between reality and fantasy once again with “Synecdoche, New York”.

Philip Seymour Hoffman plays a regional theater director struggling with personal issues, but determined to create a monumental stage production before what he thinks is his impending death.

And finally, the original Disney version of “Pinocchio” celebrates its 70th anniversary next year.

They’re getting a jump start on the party by releasing a platinum edition of the film on DVD, as well high def Blu-ray.

The film won Oscars for Best Song and Best Score.

It also marked the debut of Jiminy Cricket.
