Mira Sorvino’s an archeologist with a taste for adventure in “The Last Templar.“

“It’s fun to be a rascal.  It’s fun to be a rule breaker,“ said Sorvino.

“Indiana Jones in some high heels.  That’s all I’m gonna say without getting myself in trouble,“ said actor Scott Foley.

There’s no shortage of trouble for Sorvino’s character, Tess Chaykin.

She watches as horsemen in templar knights garb swipe an ancient artifact that could solve a longstanding mystery.

“She wants to find this treasure.  The thrill of the hunt and the dig is in her blood,“ said Sorvino.

Her hunt for the stolen artifact goes global with an FBI agent reluctantly in tow.

“Anytime you can infuriate a man to his wit’s end, there’s probably a pretty good chance you’re going to wind up romantically involved,“ said Foley.

But action is also in the mix as well as screen legend Omar Sharif.

“I read it, I said I like it and that’s why I’m here,“ said actor Omar Sharif.

Just another piece in a global puzzle.

“It’s really light and fun, but there’s an edge to it,“ said Sorvino.
