Crusoe comes to NBC

One of fiction’s most famous castaways finds a new home on NBC tonight.

“Crusoe” is the latest retelling of the tale of shipwreck survivor Robinson Crusoe.

Philip Winchester plays the title character, who along with his friend Friday, struggles to survive on a tropical island using his wits, the jungle and whatever washes ashore.

Swashbuckling adventure ensues as the pair take on cannibals, pirates and other ne’er-do-wells.
