There was a lot of buzz about the pair of 3-d ads that aired during the Super Bowl, but there will be a whole hour of 3-d action on Monday night.
That’s when NBC’s action comedy “Chuck” airs an episode entirely in 3-d.
The first time it’s ever been done.
The world’s nerdiest super spy is making a leap into 3-d.
TV’s never seen an hour like this one.
It’s not only historic…
“This is the first television show to ever do a full episode that’s 3-d,“ said actor Zachary Levi.
It could even be game show fodder.
“I’ll take notable television shows for 1000, Alex. This show was the first to air an entire episode in 3-d. What is chuck? That’s right,“ joked Levi.
As if 3d didn’t make the episode special enough, guest star Dominick Monahan adds yet another dimension as rock star, Tyler Martin.
“I’m playing an outrageous character in a comedy show. So it’s kind of outrageous times two,“ said Monahan.
That’s because Tyler’s got some strange tastes.
The rocker also has tattoos that harbor a secret code.
“Somebody wants Tyler dead. And this somebody is not just some crazy, stalker fan, although that’s what we think he is. He’s a bad guy, bad guy,“ said Levi.
But bad guys are just part of the fun on “Chuck”.
This week, 3-d adds to it.
Along with 3-d “Chuck”, Monday also features an all-new episode of “Heroes”, followed by the season premiere of “Medium”.
