Sunny and hot again

A warm and muggy start will give way to a sunny and hot afternoon. A cold front will bring the chance of a widely scattered shower or thunderstorm this afternoon but rain chances are only around 20 percent. Highs today will be in the middle 90’s inland, upper 80’s at the beach. Heading into Friday and the 4th of July we will keep with a lot of sunshine and rain chances around 20% in the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will be in the low to middle 90’s. A better chance of rain will move in Sunday and Monday with our next weather maker.
