Well… it’s no secret that times they are a changing. You don’t send a letter in the mail or make a long distance telephone call anymore. If you want to stay in touch there are, it seems, at least a thousand other ways to stay hyper-connected. Texting, blogs, facebook, myspace and recently twitter. Now, I know for some us baby boomers all of this technology is tough to wrap your head around.  But what I’ve realized is that resisting the change won’t stop change train from coming. So now I have a facebook account and I use twitter on a regular basis and I’ve got to admit, I’m coming in contact with people I haven’t heard from in years! It really is a great thing. Being able to connect with friends and family and even co-workers so easily definitely has its benefits. You can get information out to more people in less time and its also a great networking and marketing tool. So if you’ve been resisting the technology, give it a try. You might be surprised at how easy it really is. One thing is for sure, it isn’t going away. In fact, the number of people participating in social networking is growing everyday. So, it’s safe to say the train is leaving the station folks. I don’t know about you, but I’m getting on!  With that, I invite you to join me on facebook and follow me on twitter you can also Log on to counton2.com key word interact for a list of people here at news 2 who are also up and twittering.
