Obama floods networks with 30 minute ad

As Obama’s half hour paid commercial began and was carried live nationwide on NBC, CBS, FOX and cable networks, Obama was at a big rally in the biggest battleground state, Florida.

“We are going to win this election,” announced Obama.

With perfect timing, Obama live joined the TV infomercial broadcast.

“America, the time for change has come. And now, to all of those who’ve joined us from across this country, I say that in six days.  In six days, we can choose hope over fear, unity over division,” said Obama.

John McCain had campaigned in Florida too.

“On Nov. 4 we’ve got to win the state of Florida my friends,” encouraged McCain.

McCain can’t afford an infomercial; he’s using only public campaign funds.

Obama went back on his word to do that and raised the millions needed to buy blocks of TV time.

McCain complained to Larry King.

“We don’t know who those donors are.  We don’t know that they are not documented,” said McCain.

“What does the broken promise behind tonight’s infomercial say about the value of his other commitments,” questioned McCain.

Obama’s show profiled voters suffering in the economic crisis.

“This election is a defining moment.  The chance for our leaders to meet the demands of these challenging times,” said Obama.

Obama’s closing argument is actually, very similar to McCain’s, in the last week.
