Bus fire near Cane Bay High School
Firefighters work to put out the fire on a bus taking students to the new Cane Bay High School in Berkeley County.
A bus fire caused a scary start to the new school year for some students at the new Cane Bay High School in Berkeley County.
Whitesville Fire Chief Timothy Stephenson says an engine problem caused the fire on Highway 176, and all of the students were able to get off the bus without injury.
Traffic is now moving in the area of the fire, but it will be slow going for a while.
