You may not realize what you're saying about yourself.
Dr. Shiener - "Rap music that says something about women or something about men, that's a way we project our feelings. We may be needing attention, we may be saying we're an aggressive tough guy. We're a nice guy, we're a loving guy."
Robert Johnson, Barbershop Owner - "I see a lot of older people with rap songs ring tones, and I'm like what? What are you doing? But I don't get into it myself personally. I like the vibrate."
Prefer vibrate like Robert, that means you are considerate and respectful.
Fuquay - "It's irritating when I hear other peoples ring tones."
Is loud and obtrusive your style?
Dr. Shiener - "They might think they're more important than other people. They might be inconsiderate of others they might need attention."
Prefer classic rock? That means you're showing your age.
Standard ringtone tells others you're not cool?
Fuquay - "Maybe 20 years ago being cool would have been on the top of my list but it's too much to worry about now adays."
And if you change ringtone all the time, your telling others you're flighty and unreliable.
Dr. Shiener's advice? "Think before you choose a ring tone because people will make there first impression of you by the noises you make."
